Transfer, Withdrawal And Deferment
Navigating changes in your educational journey can be complex. Below are the policies and guidelines to help you understand how to manage course transfers, withdrawals and deferments.
What You Need To Know
- All requests must be made via Student Request Form, accompanied by any necessary documents. Verbal notices will not be entertained
- Students under 18 years old must obtain written consent from the parents or legal guardian to proceed with any of these processes
- Your request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and the college has the final say on the outcome
Transfer Policy
A transfer occurs when you change your course or change of intake but continue to be a student at the same college.
Conditions For Transfer:
- All outstanding fees must be settled
- You must meet the admission criteria for the new course and will undergo the college’s student selection and admission procedures
- For students’ holding a Student’s Pass, the transfer is subject to ICA’s approval
Withdrawal Policy
A withdrawal means you are discontinuing all courses with the college
Conditions For Withdrawal:
- All outstanding fees must be cleared
- Your Student’s Pass will be cancelled, and you are required to submit it to the college for ICA notification
Deferment Policy
Deferment refers to the postponement of your course. (Apply only for Master’s student)
