Kingston Refer-a-Friend Programme
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 23 Jan 2026
1. Programme Overview
The Kingston Refer-a-Friend Programme (“Programme”) is designed to encourage eligible individuals to introduce prospective students to Kingston International College (“Kingston”) programmes.
Successful referrals may be entitled to referral incentives (“Referral Incentives”), subject to these Terms & Conditions. Details of eligible programmes and applicable Referral Incentive amounts are set out in Appendix A, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions and may be updated by Kingston from time to time.
2. Eligibility to Refer
2.1 The Programme is open to the following eligible referrers:
- Current Kingston students
- Kingston alumni (graduates or former students)
- 1doc partners and associcates
2.2 For avoidance of doubt, the following are not eligible to participate in the Programme:
- Education agents
- Individuals directly involved in student recruitment, admissions processing, assessment, or admissions decision-making
2.3 A “current student” refers to a student who has either:
- Commenced a programme with Kingston; or
- Accepted a Letter of Offer and made payment of the first instalment of programme fees.
3. Eligibility of Referred Students
3.1 A referred student (“Referee”) must:
- Be a new prospect not previously registered in Kingston’s database
- Not be an existing Kingston alumnus/alumna
- Meet all admission and eligibility requirements for the relevant programme
- Successfully receive an offer of admission
- Pay the first-tranche tuition fees
- Commence the programme
3.2 The Referee must be enrolling in a Kingston programme with an intake commencing in Academic Year 2025 or 2026, unless otherwise stated in Appendix A.
3.3 Kingston reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether a referral qualifies as a valid referral.
4. Referral Declaration Requirement
4.1 The Referee must clearly indicate the full name of the referrer in the application form at the point of submission.
4.2 Referrals that are:
- Not declared in the application form; or
- Declared after submission
shall not be recognised and shall not be eligible for Referral Incentives.
5. Definition of a Successful Referral
A referral is deemed successful only when the Referee:
- Has been formally enrolled; and
- Has commenced the programme.
No Referral Incentive shall be issued prior to fulfilment of these conditions.
6. Referral Incentives
6.1 Subject to these Terms & Conditions, a successful referrer may receive a Referral Incentive in the form of a cash reward or other form as determined by Kingston.
6.2 Referral Incentive values may vary across programmes and shall be determined by Kingston prior to programme commencement. Applicable incentives are set out in Appendix A.
6.3 Referral Incentives are:
- Non-transferable
- Non-exchangeable
- Not convertible to other benefits unless expressly stated by Kingston
6.4 A referrer receiving a Referral Incentive remains eligible for any other applicable programme fee rebates, upgrader rebates, or education grants for the same application, where permitted.
6.5 Referral Incentives may be stackable with Education Grants for selected Kingston programmes, as specified in Appendix A.
6.6 To qualify for the Referral Incentive, the referrer may be required to enter into a referral or incentive agreement with Kingston.
7. Reward Disbursement
7.1 Referral Incentives will be issued only after the Referee:
- Has paid the first-tranche tuition fees; and
- Has commenced the programme.
7.2 Both the referrer and the Referee must have no outstanding payments with Kingston at the time of disbursement.
7.3 Cash Referral Incentives, where applicable, will be disbursed within a reasonable period following programme commencement, subject to administrative processing and internal approvals.
8. Multiple Referrals & Disputes
8.1 Where multiple individuals claim to have referred the same Referee, the Referral Incentive shall be awarded to the individual whose referral details were first submitted and recorded by Kingston.
8.2 Kingston’s decision on referral attribution shall be final.
9. Fraud, Misuse & Disqualification
9.1 Kingston reserves the right to disqualify any referrer or Referee if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, abuse, manipulation, or misuse of the Programme.
9.2 Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information
- Self-referrals or attempts to circumvent Programme rules
- Collusion between referrers and Referees for improper gain
- Referral submissions made without genuine intent to enrol
- Any conduct that undermines the integrity or intent of the Programme
9.3 Where fraud or misuse is identified or reasonably suspected, Kingston may:
- Withhold, revoke, or recover Referral Incentives
- Cancel or invalidate referral eligibility
- Terminate participation in the Programme without prior notice
- Take further action as permitted under applicable laws
9.4 Kingston’s determination regarding fraud or misuse shall be final and binding.
10. Programme Changes & Limitations
10.1 Kingston reserves the right to:
- Cap the number of Referral Incentives per referrer
- Amend, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice
10.2 Any changes will be communicated through official Kingston channels where applicable.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
All personal data collected under this Programme will be handled in accordance with Kingston International College’s Data Protection and Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
13. Final Authority
Kingston International College reserves the right to interpret and apply these Terms & Conditions. All decisions made by Kingston in relation to the Programme shall be final.
Appendix A
Eligible Courses & Referral Reward Amounts
A.1 Referral rewards under the Kingston Refer-a-Friend Programme apply only to courses expressly designated by Kingston International College as eligible referral programmes.
A.2 The referral reward amounts listed in this Appendix apply only upon fulfilment of all conditions set out in the Terms & Conditions, including successful enrolment and commencement of the course by the referred student.
A.3 This Appendix will be updated from time to time as new courses or programmes are launched, and as referral reward structures are determined by Kingston International College. The most current version of Appendix A shall apply.
A.4 As at the effective date of these Terms & Conditions, the following course is eligible under the Programme:

A.5 Kingston International College reserves the right to amend, add, remove, or revise the list of eligible courses and referral reward amounts at any time, with or without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect referral rewards that have already been validly earned and approved in accordance with these Terms & Conditions prior to the change.
